UWW विश्व रैंकिंग सीरीज महिला कुश्ती में भारत ने जीते स्वर्ण सहित तीन पदक
Manisha Bhanwala won gold in women's 65kg, Ritika Hooda (72kg) won silver and Sarita Mor (59kg) won bronze to make it a great day for India at the UWW 3rd World Ranking Series wrestling event in Bishkek on Saturday.
Former world bronze medalist Sarita Mor won the bronze medal in the 59kg category with an 11-0 win over Kazakhstan's Kayumova Diana. Two-time Asian champion Sarita Mor recorded a 4-0 win over Turkey's Ebru Dagbassi in the first round of the competition, continued her winning streak in the second round with an emphatic 7-0 win over world rank 5 Diana Kayumova of Kazakhstan But in the semi-finals, she lost 4-5 in a very close match to Solomila Vynnyk of Ukraine. Finally, in the fight for the third place, the Indian wrestler again single-handedly defeated Diana Yuvmova by a great margin of 11-0 and took the third place.
India's Manisha Bhanwala won the gold medal in the 65 kg category by winning all her four bouts.
Asian bronze medalist Manisha kept it one-sided throughout her bouts and did not let her rhythm break as she beat Kazakhstan's Irina Kazulina by 15-4 and Gauhar Mukayat 11-0, Mongolia's Purevsuren Uljisaikhan 10-0 and defeating Ukraine's Yulia Leskovets by 6–2 to establish herself as champion.
Indian wrestler Ritika Hooda defeated Italian Dalma Caneva 7-0, before going down 0-4 to Kazakhstan's Zhamila Bakbarjenova to ensure the silver medal.
