Due to the love triangle between Wazir Khanam (Mother of Famous Poet Daag Dehlvi), Shamsuddin Ahmed the Nawab of Loharu and Firozpur Jhirka and William Frazer, a cold war was going on between Fraser and Nawab Shamsuddin. when Wazir Khanum also turned towards the Nawab, William Fraser got completely burnt from inside. Once in a crowded market, William Fraser abused the Nawab's sister. This thing hurts the heart of the Nawab. Then on Fraser's recommendation, the Governor-General orders one of the Nawab's two princely states to be given to his half-brother, Nawab gets more angry. After which Nawab conspired to kill William Fraser and Nawab got William Fraser murdered by his henchman Karim Khan.
The tufangchi (तुफ़ंगची) Kurrim Khan killed William Fraser on 22 March 1835 by firing three consecutive shots from a carbine.
Later for which Nawab Shamsuddin Ahmed was hanged along with Kurrim Khan.
Wazir Khanum is considered as ultimate beauty of her time, the daughter of a famous jeweler of Delhi and mother of famous poet Daag Dehlvi (born as Nawab Mirza) last married to Mughal Emperor Bahadur Shah Zafar's son Mirza Fateh Ul Mulk in 1845 who died of cholera in 1856 and she along with her son Nawab Mirza thrown out of Lal Qila by Empress Zeenat Mahal.

William Frazer was very fond of Mughal and Indian Culture he was big fan of Mirza Galib. He used to wear Mughal Style Clothing and ornaments love Urdu Persian Poetry.
Today William Fraser's bungalow houses the Office of Chief Engineer Northern Railways (Construction) and has restricted entry.
The village of Rania, now in Haryana, was home to Amiban, main mistress to William Fraser, and his two Anglo-Indian sons and daughter.
Another funny thing in this story is that Wazir Khanum had two children from Marston Blake, an English police officer. In 1830, in the fight for the throne of Jaipur, Blake was killed by a goon of Lala Jhuntaram, a claimant to the throne, only after which Wazir Khanum had to return to Delhi and then she met Nawab Shamsuddin for the first time in a mushaira at William Fraser's house.
Look at the funny thing when a goon of Lala kills a British officer with a country made pistol and a hired goon of small princely State Nawab Shamsuddin Ahmed had a carbine years later in 1857 revolutionary battles are written fighting with swords.
