Haryana Rugby Football Team will give excellent sporting performance in the 37th National Games Goa.
Giving information, Haryana Rugby Football Association Secretary Narender Mor said that the 37th National Games will be organized in Goa from October 25 to November 9. The rugby event will be organized at the Athletics Stadium Bomlim, Panaji from October 25 to 27. Preliminary matches will be played on October 25, quarter finals on 26 and semi-final and final matches on 27. A team was announced after 20 days Preparatory Coaching camp conducted at Nandal Kalan Rugby Ground, which comprises Vikas Khatri (Sonipat) former India Team Captain, Tilakraj (Sonipat), Prince Khatri (Sonipat) India Team Captain, Mohit Khatri (Sonipat), Neeraj (Sonipat), Manoj (Sonipat), Pranay (Faridabad), Aniket (Ambala), Sachin (Sonipat) Mohit Tushir (Sonipat), Ajay Deswal (Jhajjar) ), Deepak Kumar Punia (Hisar). Team leader Narender Mor (Sonipat), coach Sarbinder Dabas (Delhi) and physio Madhav (Hisar).
Sarvinder Dabas team coach and President of the Association added that Haryana men's rugby team had won gold medals in the 2022 Gujarat and 2015 Kerala National Games, before winning the silver medal in the 2011 Jharkhand National Games.
This time also the team is the national champion and will retain the gold medal.
Mr. Maniah Grover, Chef De Mission, Mr. Suraj Pal Amu, Mr. Bikramjit Singh, Deputy Chef De Mission, Mr.Neeraj Tanwar, Secretary, HOA, Mr. Manish Khatri, Vice President, Naveen Kumar Joint Secretary, Devender Kumar Exco Member and other members of the Haryana State Rugby Football Association has extended thier good wishes to the team for excellent performance.
