Haryana reached in quarter finals of 11 National Rugby Sevens

Pune: On the first day of the 11th National Senior Men's Rugby Sevens Championship, Haryana defeated Chhattisgarh by 27–0 in the first match and defeated Manipur by 43–0 in the second match to make it to the top 16.



In the second half of the day, Haryana defeated Chandigarh by 38–0 in the pre-quarterfinals to make it to the quarterfinals.

In the quarterfinal, Haryana will face Goa National Games silver medalist Maharashtra. It is worth mentioning that Haryana had won the gold medal by defeating Maharashtra in the final in Goa National Games.

9वीं राष्ट्रीय जूनियर रग्बी सेवन प्रतियोगिता के पहले दिन लीग मैचेज में हरियाणा की लड़कियों की टीम ने पहला मैच आंध्र प्रदेश की टीम के साथ खेला।  हरियाणा की टीम ने बेहतरीन डिफेंस करते हुए आंध्र प्रदेश को स्कोर करने से रोके रखा किंतु अटैक मजबूत ना होने के चलते टीम खुद भी स्कोर नहीं कर पाई। टीम की विंगर संध्या पास देने में कामयाब न हो सकी और पहले हाफ के अंतिम एक मिनट में आंध्र प्रदेश पहली ट्राई करके 5 स्कोर बटोरने में कामयाब रहा। सेकंड हाफ में दोनो टीम मजबूती से डटी रहीं और दूसरे हाफ के अंतिम मिनट में टीम की विंगर संध्या ने स्क्रम से बाल लपकी और सीधे ट्राई लाइन के पार ले गई। 400 यार्ड की उनकी स्प्रिंट से टीम मैच को 5–5 की बराबरी पर ले आई।  दूसरा मैच पूल डी की मजबूत टीम पश्चिम बंगाल से खेलते हुए ट्राम ने फिर एक बार बहुत ही मजबूत डिफेंस का प्रदर्शन किया हालांकि पश्चिम बंगाल की टीम अपनी गलतियों के चलते हरियाणा को मौके दे रही थी किंतु हरियाणा की टीम अटैक मजबूत नहीं कर पाई और दूसरे हाफ में पश्चिम बंगाल ट्राई करके 5 स्कोर अर्जित करने में कामयाब रहा।  पोस्ट लीग मैच के बाद हरियाणा का मुकाबला पंजाब

Haryana Rugby Football Team will give excellent sporting performance in the 37th National Games Goa. Giving information, Haryana Rugby Football Association Secretary Narender Mor said that the 37th National Games will be organized in Goa from October 25 to November 9.  The rugby event will be organized at the Athletics Stadium Bomlim, Panaji from October 25 to 27. No concrete decision by MYAS and IOA on karate team participating in Asian Games

The office bearers of the Indian Olympic Association are not only unaware of the functioning of global sports bodies but also do not understand the Olympic Charter. Thier inexperience in sports administration is coming in the way.  Not only this, the officials sitting in the Sports Authority of India and the Sports Ministry have been continuously taking wrong decisions for sports in India even after understanding the international sports methodology and the dignity of the Olympic  Charter.
