International Rugger Mohit Khatri from Village Kundali of Sonipat District will lead Haryana team as Captain

The 11th National Senior Men's Rugby Sevens Competition is being organized from 29 to 30 June 2024 at Shree Shiv Chhatrapati Sports Complex Balwadi, Pune.

For which a 12-member Haryana team has been selected, the captain and vice-captain of the team will be international players Mohit Khatri and Deepak Punia respectively. 

      Deepak Kumar Punia, Vice Captain 

The team will include Vikas Khatri, Mohit Khatri, Neeraj, Prince Khatri, Sahil Tushir, Sachin, Aman Khatri and Tilak Duhan from Sonipat, Aniket from Ambala, Deepak Punia from Hisar and Ajay Deswal from Jhajjar district. Apart from this, Suresh Kumar from Army is also a part of the Haryana team.

Mr. Narender Singh Mor, Haryana State Rugby Football Association Secretary and Rugby India Qualified manager will lead the team as Manager, the coach of the team will be former international player and World Rugby Level 2 Arun Dagar and Rugby India Fair Qualified Ankesh Dayanand Sinha will be the physio.

In the list of players released by Haryana State Rugby Football Association, Kapil, Deepak Tanwar and Anuj Pal have been kept on standby. Haryana men's rugby team has been the national champion for many consecutive years and this time too the team will defend the championship title.
